Giving FREE Software Does Not Make it Cheap…

Ab Initio has taken the apparently radical step of making it's world class sales and installation planning software free of charge. But does this undervalue what has been called 'Britain's favourite customer care management system'? "Absolutely not," says Rhonda Ridge, Ab Initio's founder and managing director. Software is increasingly offered free of charge to reflect the fact that the true value is realised in other ways. Although AdminBase is not as yet an online system, the concept of what is called 'Cloud Computing' - using software and systems via the Internet for free or paying only for what is used - is increasingly accepted as being the future for computers.

"Offering to install AdminBase free of charge is simply one of our schemes that has been tailored for companies that wish to spread the cost of the system and our support," explains Rhonda.
